Whitney trip is back!
Half an hour ago the entire camp turned out to welcome back our Senior Boys who paddled across Algonquin to Whitney and back – a trip they’d been training for every morning at 6 for weeks. We’re proud of the boys’ accomplishment, but even prouder of the dedication and teamwork they showed in their training. […]Continue
Everything is 100% fine at camp….
We had rain off and on here until about 4 pm and then the skies cleared. After lunch we did indoor activities till the rain passed…. And now everybody is playing outside – it’s a normal day at camp. But, due to what we hear was more intense weather south of Algonquin Park, our power […]Continue

The long trip is back!
Nine days ago six Senior Boys and three staff (two seasoned trip leaders and a counsellor) left camp and paddled eastward literally the entire breadth, all the way across Algonquin Park to the Barron Canyon. They paddled and portaged for nine days, braving huge winds, unmarked portages – and the sheer challenge of a 173 […]Continue

Kids […]Continue

It was sunny and windy all day… with the wind sports full of adrenaline rushes…. Tis the season of 3rd class awards – at every lunch and dinner there are dozens of announcements of 3rd class awards at every activity – because two weeks in, many campers have achieved basic mastery at an activity… or […]Continue
Could a day at camp get any better?
It was hot and sunny, and it seemed every activity was full of even more laughter and smiles than usual. Highlights of the day were an Arts and Crafts and FAD (Fitness, Aerobics and Dance) co-production of body painting and zumba in front of the Main Lodge, which involved campers painting literally every part of […]Continue
Beauty and the Beast
The first big play of the summer just ended – The Junior Show – Beauty and the Beast… The Juniors proved that their talent and their commitment bear no relation to their size! They sang and danced and acted their way into our hearts. With extravaganza costumes and sets the show was also a visual […]Continue

The Juniors all practiced capsizing drills and other fun stuff to get over their fears about sailing. Led by our friendly pirates (the sailing staff, […]Continue
