High School Musical

The Inter Senior play, High School Musical, just ended… A cast of 90, very cool sets, great singing and dancing…. The quality of acting, singing and dancing was crazy great for camp – resulting not one but two standing ovations – Unlike Toronto, Arowhon does not lightly bestow standing ovations, so this was a real […]

Could a day at camp get any better?

It was hot and sunny, and it seemed every activity  was full of even more laughter and smiles than usual. Highlights of the day were an Arts and Crafts and FAD (Fitness, Aerobics and Dance) co-production of body painting and zumba in front of the Main Lodge, which involved campers painting literally every part of […]

a super fun day at camp

This morning, thanks to the perfect weather (hot sun, light wind) we did Pirate Day for all the Juniors at sailing.. Of course it started with a skit at breakfast. The Juniors all practiced capsizing drills and other fun stuff to get over their fears about sailing. Led by our friendly pirates (the sailing staff, […]

Summer’s Here!

It’s finally here! Today has been hot and sunny, the summer we’ve been awaiting… But the funny thing is, even thought the first 5 days of camp were chilly and cloudy, our campers were all getting in the water for swim class, windsurfing with enthusiasm, and generally being good sports about the lousy weather. Today, […]
