It’s 8:10 pm and all over camp we can hear joyous shouts and laughter. Once a week Evening Activity is 5th period – campers go to all the same activities as during the day, but the emphasis is 100% on fun rather than on learning skills… So they’re leaping off the Jungle Joe into the lake, bouncing on water trampolines and going Dow. Water slides, cramming lots of friends into sailboats,paddling  canoes and kayaks all over the lake, playing with horses, and generally having a blast. It’s sure helpful that it’s warm and sunny!

We started Junior play rehearsals today, after an extravaganza skit in the dining hall to announce the play, Hercules. Inter and Senior boys left on trip yesterday and today, and more leave tomorrow. Seniors are also leaving on 10 day white water trips…. I had a wonderful meeting with the Curve girls today to plan for them leading the camp in environmental stewardship, they’re excited about the project and so am I.
