Carnival Day!!!

What a day on the planet! It started out with the whole camp being called to a “meeting” after breakfast on the Main Lodge steps – in came a “travelling carnival troupe” asking for help because their caravans had broken down. Since there weren’t any auto mechanics on site, the crew had to stay and set up shop here for the afternoon – and what an afternoon it was! Camp was transformed into a giant carnival, complete with bouncy castles, mini golf, a petting zoo (with the most adorable teacup piglets!), and treats galore – from pogo sticks to ice cream sandwiches to cotton candy to popcorn! But the most popular booth was actually the sponge toss where the management team took turns as targets!

Dinner was rowdy after all the sugar and now we’re heading up to Rustic Lounge to dance all our energy away under black lights wearing our tightest and brightest outfits! Oh… and we almost forgot in all the excitement: the Wayne Peck finals were today and were won by dream team Senior Girl Nora Cowett (who clearly has Arowhon in her blood due to many family member alumni) and Program Director and ex-sailing instructor Jonah Burke-Kleinman – a well-deserved victory!
