We just watched the annual Glowstick Paddle…. The whole camp sitting in front of the Main Lodge watching the best kayakers in camp performing kayak ballet – pinwheels, pivots in groups, kayak rolls galore… And all magically visible to us because the kayak instructors duct taped literally hundreds of glowsticks to every kayak and to the campers’ life jackets and paddles – so they literally glowed in the dark like magical waterborne phantoms.

And now it’s campwide ETB – Our once a week Early To Bed. Counsellors to sleep with their campers, everyone catching up on sleep and having some bedtime “cabin family” bonding. We also send every instructor and tripper to bed by 9:30, so in a few minutes Planet Arowhon will be silent – for once!
