It’s been a crazy whirlwind week of special events on Planet Arowhon! We welcomed the Juniors back from their canoe trips today just in time to take part in an incredible night of fun, food, and festivities thanks to the Senior Girls. It started out with a fabulous Cotillion banquet – they worked all afternoon to decorate the Main Lodge to the theme of “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles” and really went all out with their amazing art work and witty skit. The whole camp dressed in their Cotillion best, including camp dog Swift who looked dapper in his red tutu! Steak, sushi, and curly fries were enjoyed by all, and every last chocolate-covered strawberry was happily consumed.

Then we were invited to Rustic Lounge for its namesake show, written and produced entirely by the Senior Girls section. It was clear that they had put their entire hearts and souls into the show because we’ve never seen such a flawless production! They knew every single line and song, projected their voices, and worked together like a well-oiled machine to pull it off. This was definitely one for the history books!

The evening was topped off with a fun dance party, a campfire with plenty of marshmallows, and some heated frisbee matches outside for the non-dancing types. We’re skipping the sleep-in tomorrow even though it’s Sunday because we want to make the most of our last day of activities before we have to pack… time really does fly when you’re having fun!
