Such an exciting dinner. All the campers are here and the jubilation in the dining hall (which translates as shouting and cheering and madcap energy) was palpable at dinner… We had our usual Night One dinner of spaghetti with tomato and veg sauce, Caesar salad with garlic bread and chocolate brownies for dessert. I checked at announcements and we had no lost luggage. Hurrah! The sun is dropping over Tepee Lake and sectional welcome Evening Activities start in a few minutes. Then it’s ETB (Early to Bed) camp wide. Counsellors are going to sleep with their campers, Section Heads are on Night Duty, and it will be a silent sleeping camp soon after 9 pm – because tomorrow is a big day here at Planet Arowhon.
