Lovely weather today, campers all active…  Last night was our first cookout/BBQ/shore dinner of the summer – which campers love. We had homemade hamburgers and veggie burgers with all the fix in’s, french fries and hotdogs outside in front of the Main Lodge. After dinner instructors in fab costumes did a skit called “My First Campfire” to tell the Junior Boys that all our two week campers were sleeping in tents with their counsellors. First all the Junior Boys hike through the forest to Hidden Lake, a campsite deep in the woods, for a campfire. Then they had the sleepover in tents on the field. Fun times!.. Senior Girls came back from trip… Tonight is Buck Lake, the annual home-written Senior Boys satiric show about camp life. And tomorrow Senior Boys go on trip.
