Brent Bullets are Back!

We got lucky with the weather this morning

I was booked to do a first class canoe test (our highest achievement level) this morning at 7. When I awoke at 5:45 the wind was blowing hard and there was big rain. Not so great for style canoeing. By the time I got to the canoe dock at 7 the rain had abated. And […]

Sleeping Beauty

The Junior play Sleeping Beauty just ended. For little people they have big voices and mighty stage presence. They sang beautifully and acted from the heart… and of course looked splendid in sequined gowns, velvet cloaks and royal crowns…. Earlier today windsurfing and FAD (Fitness, Aerobics and Dance) got together all day for SOGA – […]

It’s a beautiful day in Algonquin Park

High School Musical

The Inter Senior play, High School Musical, just ended… A cast of 90, very cool sets, great singing and dancing…. The quality of acting, singing and dancing was crazy great for camp – resulting not one but two standing ovations – Unlike Toronto, Arowhon does not lightly bestow standing ovations, so this was a real […]

Whitney trip is back!

Half an hour ago the entire camp turned out to welcome back our Senior Boys who paddled across Algonquin to Whitney and back – a trip they’d been training for every morning at 6 for weeks. We’re proud of the boys’ accomplishment, but even prouder of the dedication and teamwork they showed in their training. […]
