The sun shone all day and made the swim test a breeze for Arowhon campers today, and we celebrated their success with marshmallow roasting and warming up around the fires built by trippers. 6 week and 2 month campers enjoyed getting back to activities while our new second monthers travelled around with their counsellors to meet all the instructors and get a tour of camp.

Lunch was a big hit with chicken nuggets, sweet potato fries, and the crowd favourite French onion soup, and we think Chef Stef has mastered the brisket recipe that we had for dinner tonight. Our first evening activities are going on now and from the sounds of it they are all a big hit. The Inter Girls were particularly excited to be playing dodgeball in their onesies! Tomorrow regular programming starts, the Senior Girls will be getting ready to leave on their canoe trips, and everyone is excited to get into the swing of camp. Cheers to the start of another great month!!!
