We Can Feel the Love Tonight

The day was abuzz on Tepee Lake as the Juniors prepared for the first play of the season: The Lion King. All their hard work paid off in spades and the whole camp was in awe at how much stage presence such small people could have. The inters and seniors pitched in to create vibrant sets, artistic make-up, and most importantly moral support for the courageous cast members. It was a true community production and the cheering that rang through Rustic Lounge was full of pride for a job well done by all. We’re all on tenterhooks for the big reveal tomorrow of what the Inter-Senior play will be.

In other news, the Inter and Senior boys are preparing to leave for their canoe trips in the next few days and are pleased with the perfect weather (many of the seniors have been training daily for push trips and now they get to try their hard-earned skills in action). The Senior Girls are hosting a rave tonight in Rustic Lounge and we can feel the vibrations across camp. And last but certainly not least, the highlight of everyone’s day was ice cream sandwiches for dessert – yum!
