    • Land Acknowledgement

Camp Arowhon acknowledges and honours the Indigenous nations on whose traditional lands the camp operates. For thousands of years the Anishinabewaki Algonquin people have lived in harmony with the lands in and around Algonquin Park, and we are grateful for the opportunity to utilize this site on which we are settlers. We understand that Indigenous peoples have a unique and abiding relationship to the land, and that, as visitors to it, we must demonstrate universal respect and stewardship of it.
    • Alums

      Are you an Arowhon alum?

From Junior Girls to Point boys, we sang the same songs and walked the same paths… paddled the same wood canoes… stargazed over Tepee Lake…and watched the mist on an August morning … learned skills that stay with us today… We know it’s not rain - it’s silver sunshine… grilled cheese sandwiches are gourmet food… doing new things is what we do every day… camp bracelets are better than gold… camp friends know us better than city friends… and they love us anyway… cheering so loud you lose your voice is way more fun than texting… being at home makes you camp-sick.
