Family Camp Weekend at Camp Arowhon
Family Camp is a blast for everyone - alumni, new-to-Arowhon families, parents, and children! It’s a chance to experience your favourite camp activities again - from archery to kayaking, from sailing to voyageur canoeing. Whether you’re new to the activity, or have your 1sts, Camp Arowhon staff will be on hand to challenge you with new games, and inspire you with unforgettable experiences. So dust off your canoe paddle, restring your tennis racket, and get ready for an amazing weekend at Arowhon.
You can plumb the depths of Curve Bay from a canoe or kayak, challenge your kids or your new Arowhon friends to a game of ball hockey, or show off your Arowhon A dock dives anytime you’d like. You can swim, fish, hike, paddle, shoot hoops, or just hang out and enjoy the fall colours in Algonquin.
As always, at Camp Arowhon Family Camp we'll play outside - Rain or Shine - and host a variety of your favourite traditional camp activities. We'll have a Campfire ( with S'Mores!), a Talent Show, play 'Capture the Fire', and meal times will feature your favourite songs, cheers, skits and shenanigans (including Flagpole - Don't be late! ) from days gone by. There's even a Color War Marathon!

Where can I stay at Family Camp?
You can have your pick of places to stay. Want to relive life as a Junior Boy? You can play tetherball, rule the Ga-ga pit, and ‘get funky’ in Cabin 19 (or 15, 17, or 21) with your family and close friends. You can stay with your own family, or with another family. Looking for something more private? You can request a Curve, and be greeted by the morning mist rising off Teepee Lake. Have an infant, or need heat and a private bath? We’ve got you covered!
All of our cabins have a washroom, a sink, electricity and access to newly renovated shared shower houses. Upgraded cabins may have heat, a private bathroom, a private shower, or any combination thereof. Unfortunately, Versailles is not for rent :(
If you'd like to request a specific cabin do so through our registration portal. First come, first served!
We will not put more than one family in a camper cabin unless requested through the registration portal.
Your registration fee includes the cost of staying in a camper cabin (called ‘Dormitory’ in the registration portal); if you’re looking for fancier, upgrade pricing is as follows.
