Mira, Dragonfly

Highlight of the Day: The horse scavenger hunt was the highlight of my day. My team won, and we got tuck!

Something You Learned: I learned a lot about the horses, like how tall they are and where they drink and eat.

Favorite Memory: Going swimming with my LIT was my favorite. She’s not in my cabin anymore, but I get to see her at sail.

What Do You Want to Learn or Try? I want to try night sailing and earn a trot bracelet from ride.

Favorite Activity: Ride is my favorite activity; it’s so fun.

Nick, Loons

Highlight of the Day: Playing basketball was really fun because I love basketball.

What Did You Learn Today? I learned how to pick up speed in sail.

Something You Want to Learn or Try: I want to try to get my 2.5s in basketball; I already got my thirds.

Favorite Memory: Going on the mega SUP with my friends was super funny because we were all pushing each other off.

Zane, LIT

Highlight of the Day: When I was at SUP, a camper didn’t want to get into the water. I talked him through it, and he decided to get in. I taught him how to paddle against the wind. It was a really rewarding moment.

What Did You Learn Today? I’m in a new cabin on rotation, so today I learned all of their names and got to know them.

Something You Want to Learn or Try: I want to learn how to manage challenging situations with campers.

Favorite Memory: Iron Chef is my favorite memory from camp so far. It was really fun; we made caramel apples, and it was a great team-building activity.
