We awoke to sunny skies today and a buzz of excitement to jump into activities.

Returning campers got right back to working on their skills and towards their awards, while new ones set off to explore everything Arowhon has to offer.

Campers walked arm in arm between activities as new friendships formed and the sparks of confidence ignited.

Seeing the well-oiled machine of Planet Arowhon in action was a wonderful reminder of just how much happens here in a single day. From the waterfront and the barn to the arts, paddlesports, and beyond, there is always something new to learn, a skill to develop, or an adventure waiting around the corner. It takes an incredible team to make it all happen, and watching camp come to life today made me so grateful for all the staff who work around the clock to give our campers the experience of their lives.

As the evening arrived, campers headed off to their sectional evening activities while I had the chance to watch a hight class riding test. It was a quiet reminder that, even amidst all the excitement of a new session, camp is about so much more than just play. Beneath the laughter, the games, and the endless energy, campers are setting goals, challenging themselves, and beginning journeys that will carry them far beyond the summer.

Today was only the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where these next few weeks take us.
