What a refreshing day, full of brisk breezes and ice cream treats!
The wind and energy levels were equally high today, and all eyes were on the lake, admiring the sailors and windsurfers flying across it.
Art and Crafts headed outside for some landscape sketching, and yoga took to the docks to enjoy the natural air conditioning.
The Loons had a great time learning Gaelic football at field sports, and high class riders were excited to explore our new cross country jumping course through the woods.
The fun continued into the evening with our weekly 5th period, where campers sign up for and go to regular camp activities that are run in an extra special way.
Salamanders at ropes were rewarded for their great teamwork with extra large ice cream cones. Moose and Bears learned the mechanics of white water navigation by making mini boats and sending them down the stream outside the office. Tennis hosted a pickleball tournament, and the Tadpoles challenged themselves to see how many of them they could get on one Mega Sup board (23!). Nature hosted a berry picking adventure, and dance travelled around camp doing flashmobs at all the activities.
What a great way to end an incredible day on Planet Arowhon
