Saturday August 12, 2017: A great way for younger children to find out what Arowhon is really like
Mini Camp is a one-day "taste of camp" for children ages six to nine years old, who are interested in checking out camp and not ready for an overnight experience.
It's a fun day with our most nurturing staff welcoming Mini Campers...a warm and safe introduction to camp to build comfort for future overnight camp experiences.
Parents can drop off Mini Campers at camp (and get a camp tour) or use our supervised bus transportation between Toronto and camp – a three hour ride.
Buses leave Herbert Carnegie Centennial Centre parking lot at 7:30 am and return there at 9:30 pm.
Please review our Mini Camp Transportation details. A map and directions to camp are available here.
Staff who are trained to work with younger children lead this jam-packed day of fun and introduce our Mini Campers to great camp activities including:
- Horseback Riding
- Rock Climbing
- Arts & Crafts
