Today was full of emotion as we wrapped up the last night for our 2 and 6-week campers. It was a day packed with fun activities and special moments as we get ready to say goodbye to some of our friends tomorrow.
After lunch we were so proud and excited to have the first 1st class award presentation of the summer: Owl Harper who made it up routes even Max and Mara couldn’t on the climbing wall! And after dinner all the activity instructors presented their special awards for most dedicated and improved campers.
This evening, we had a campfire where we got to see a mix of awesome performances, featuring spoken word, origami demonstrations, story-telling, and musical masterpieces, showing off the amazing talents of our campers and staff!
After the campfire, we all walked down to the front of the Main Lodge where we were treated to an outdoor slideshow and magical torch paddle which, reminding us of all the incredible moments we’ve experienced this summer and how lucky we are to be spending our summer here.
Another highlight of the magical evening was Elliot, Morgan, and Brooke receiving their 10-year jackets. Each of them gave heartfelt speeches, sharing their journey and contributions to camp and inspiring campers to appreciate every moment.
As we get ready to say goodbye to some of our campers tomorrow, we’re holding onto the laughter, friendships, and unforgettable moments we’ve shared. For those staying on, the adventure continues for another two weeks, packed with more memories and fun to come.
