What an exciting day at camp!
It started off with a big send off for the Juniors on their canoe trips – they looked great all decked out in themed gear, from minions to survivalists.
Later in the day, we were bursting with pride at the multiple campers getting carried into each meal on the shoulders of instructors, after having achieved high class awards.
After dinner, we headed up to the Rustic Lounge for the much-anticipated music and dance showcase: Arowhon-a-Palooza. It was an incredible collection of talent, from the Curve cheerleading routine to Owl Olivia’s haunting solo of “I dreamed a dream”. The cheers of could be heard lakes away!
But the fun didn’t stop there – after the show we were rushed down to the Main Lodge by CDA members in hazmat suits, which turned out to be the lead in to a nail-biting Colour War break skit where Boo got stuck in the scream factory and all the monsters have to fight to save her.
Campers are now tucked into their beds, waiting eagerly to wake up to find out what team they are on and get the games started. Move over Olympics… Arowhon Colour War is here!
