Second session is off to a fantastic start here in the heart of Algonquin Park!
Today was Tour Day, where cabins travelled around camp dressed in matching outfits seeing what summer 2025 has to offer them.
After a month of sunshine in July, Tepee Lake felt like a warm bath, and we’re thrilled to share that every single Junior camper passed their swim test today! We’re so proud of their determination and bravery as they kicked off their camp adventure with confidence and enthusiasm. And just when we thought it couldn’t get better… no lice were found during our head checks. A small miracle, but one we’re more than happy to celebrate!
A special highlight of the day was Senior Directors Joanne and Leon hosting the Curve girls for an exclusive cooking class and surf-and-turf dinner in their cabin (on the menu was barbecued steak, sautéed shrimp, homemade pesto pasta, and Greek salad). There was laughter, learning, and delicious memories made that will last a lifetime.
It was the perfect evening to top off the perfect day, with the Senior Bears leading a beautiful singalong for the full camp in their Friday night whites, followed by our first night of sectional evening activities featuring camp favourite Capture the Fire between the Curve and Point.
With warm hearts and clean hair we’re heading into the days ahead with excitement and gratitude. We can’t wait to see what the rest of second session has in store… especially the Junior play break skit tomorrow at breakfast!
