We Dreamed a Dream

Today was one of those magical camp days that remind us why we do what we do.

As the session draws to a close, energy is ramping up and campers have been seizing every moment with enthusiasm and spirit. Whether they are soloing canoes, skippering sail boats, flying over jumps on horses, or through the trees on the zipline, camp is alive with fun, learning, and connection. Everywhere you look, campers of all ages are challenging themselves and lifting each other up.

This afternoon we were excited to welcome the Juniors sections back from their canoe trips. They paddled into camp with huge smiles on their dirty faces, full of exciting  stories of their adventures.

But the real showstopper? Tonight’s Inter-Senior play: Les Misérables.

Our older campers poured their hearts into this performance, and the result was nothing short of breathtaking. With powerful vocals, moving acting, and a set and costumes crafted by campers themselves, the Rustic Lounge was transformed into 19th-century France. Campers and staff alike were spellbound. The standing ovation at the end said it all.

We ended the evening feeling proud, inspired, and deeply connected—as a community and camp family. What a gift it is to watch these campers grow in confidence and shine so brightly.

Thank you parents for sharing your wonderful kids with us and allowing us to witness these life shaping moments.
