As we prepare to day goodbye to our 2 and 6 week campers we’re reflecting on all the awesome memories we have of this session. Here’s a snapshot:
- Seeing all the smiling faces coming off the buses on day 1
- The cool cabin costumes on Tour Day (a favourite was the Bears cabin who dressed as all different barbies in an homage to the movie)
- All the staff weddings hosted by the Junior matchmakers at Rest Hours
- The first first class award of the summer (a musical Moose)
- The greatest junior play of all time: The Greatest Showman
- Amazing Arowhon A practices (including one where the campers got to coach the staff)
- Brambo’s Dash (our annual camper-staff canoe race around Tepee Lake)
- The country-themed Saidie Hawkins dance DJ’d by the Magen Boys
- The LIT-organized campwide game of Pokemon Go (where Director Mara was the Gold Poke)
- Epic puddle jumping parties and all the hocho on rainy days
- So much fun with all the awesome alumni who came to visit
- Junior Senior night where all the Juniors and their Senior buddies dressed as twins and spend the night together
- The reunion of the Loons choir and their fabulous performance at campfire
- The magical torch paddle tonight as the stars came out over Tepee Lake
