Despite the chill in the air we still had a great day at Planet Arowhon! We watched proudly as the first round of canoe trips (Bears and Owls) departed on their wilderness adventures, singing at the top of their lungs as they paddled confidently across the lake. In camp, campers jumped enthusiastically into the second day of activities, with 3rds awards and trot bracelets starting to be achieved and wrists accumulating rainbows of friendship bracelets.

Cabin cleanup started today, with many cabins moving up the ranks, vying for the end-of-week ice cream party.

The fun carried into evening activities activities, where the sounds of singing and laughter filled camp from talent shows and Air Bands. Other activities included “Know your Counsellor” and a friendly egg-drop competition between the Tadpoles and Salamanders.

The clouds parted as the sun went down, treating us to some beautiful colours and giving us hope for sunny skies tomorrow!
