Second Period

Second period, an inter learned a running pry today. The canoe effortlessly and almost magically turned around, silently and with grace.

A few hundred feet away, a senior Bear jibed a sailboat for the first time. A simple breeze was enough to help the boat quickly change direction.

Just up the camp’s back road, a ten-year old danced with fear and got on a horse. And smiles ensued all around.

Camp is filled with moments where kids go from “can’t” to “can.”

The person we see when we look in the mirror is the person we are sure to become. And today at camp, hundreds of kids learned to see someone filled with possibility.
