Singing in the Rain!

Rain, or ‘silver sunshine’ as we like to call it, never stops us from having a good time! From making friendship bracelets in Arts and Crafts to practicing their paddle strokes, the campers had a blast. On the lake campers were catching the breeze and mastering their balance on windsurfers and sailboats, while others relaxed with some yoga on the Main Lodge porch. The sounds of drumming filled Outpost as campers honed their rhythm skills and nature walks took campers on exciting explorations to see wildlife and learn about the Algonquin ecosystem.

The Rustic Lounge was buzzing today after an awesome break skit announcing the Junior play to be ‘Oliver’. The campers were super enthusiastic and the turnout for auditions was fantastic. It was amazing to see so many talented and eager faces ready to take on their roles and bring the story to life.

Tonight was our first night of sectional evening activities and laughing echoes across camp as they pursue the wild and wacky in scavenger hunts, dodge balls, and see how many they can cram into a boat for night sailing. Meanwhile, the Leaders in Training (LITs) were treated to their first-ever Mystique, a magical ceremony where staff shared words of wisdom by torchlight, inspiring a new generation of leaders.

Rain or shine, there’s always room for fun, friendship, and growth. Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!
