When camp started it felt a bit odd to be here after so long away and in isolation, but a week in it’s starting to feel like 2020 never happened and we’re picking up where we left off. After the whole camp tested negative, the kids finally enjoyed their well-earned candy party before an incredible production of Buck Lake – the Senior Boys’ signature play (we’re not sure if was the sugar or adrenaline that kept the kids up that night!). Yesterday was just like a normal Friday night at camp: the Senior Girls hosted a sing-a-long in their jeans and whites (joined by Mara and baby Lily) and the Junior Boys hosted the full camp for a campfire at their section campsite. Today the sun finally came out and we enjoyed a beautiful day of activities. Cohorting isn’t stopping campers from getting awards and the Main Lodge if full of proud cheers every meal. We’re continuing to #stay positiveandtestnegative and are sad that Junior Camp is almost over – time really does fly when you are having fun!
