Introducing… 5th Period!!!

Our 3rd day of programming was even sunnier and hotter than the previous two, making water sports extra popular today and swim classes a refreshing breeze. The wind was great for sailing and surfing, and campers were achieving 3rd class awards like crazy! Campers were excited to receive mail and tuck after lunch, and even more excited that it was ice cream sandwiches for dessert at dinner! For evening activity we had our first ever “5th period” which was a smashing success – kids got to sign up for regular activities and do them after dinner just for fun! In honour of July 4th, all the Americans sang The Star Spangled Banner at flagpole, and red, white, and blue were proudly sported all day. The LIT’s also treated us to a song and dance performance to introduce themselves and get us excited for them to start their cabin and activity rotations tomorrow (which, by the way, is forecast to be just as beautiful as today was) – we can’t wait!
