LIT Power!

It was a crazy day on Teepee Lake! The wind was HUGE and sailboats and windsurfers were flying across the lake. Campfire cooking made BLT’s and the wind carried the delicious aromas all around camp. We welcomed some Inter Boys back from their canoe trips and look forward to seeing more of them tomorrow!

The LIT’s ran evening activities for all sections tonight and the kids reported that they were some of the best they had ever done. Junior Girls trained to become cookie fairies, Junior Boys went on a counsellor hunt to find hidden staff, Inter Girls did a colour run, Inter Boys competed against each other in field Olympics, and Senior Boys played a camp version of Cops and Robbers (Senior Girls were busy auditioning for Rustic Lounge).

It was cookout tonight so the whole camp ate dinner outside – homemade burgers and fries, pop, and of course popsicles for dessert! Before bed we were treated to the first torch paddle of the summer – a magical affair performed in front of the Main Lodge just as the sun was sinking behind the trees. All in all another great day in Algonquin Park!
