What an evening!!! The Junior plays are always adorable, but the quality of tonight’s production of Hercules was unprecedented! The juniors’ unbelievable talent and dedication provided us with a show to be proud of – they projected their voices so well, remembered all of their lines, sung in tune, and showed real theatrical skill! The sets and costumes were perfect to the last detail, and everything went off without a hitch. The standing ovation at the end could not have been more deserved (nor could the cupcakes the cast and crew were treated to afterwards).

But that’s not all the excitement of the evening – after the Junior play was over, we stayed in Rustic to watch the amazing break skit for the Inter Senior play which is going to be Mama Mia!!! We can’t wait to sing and dance along to ABBA in what we know will be another great show! And it just kept getting better because after that we went down to watch the first torch paddle of the month – a completely magical experience of fire dancing on water as the sun sunk behind the trees. And it was all written and performed by our high class campers!

The LIT’s had a great night too – they all came to dinner dressed in prom gowns from the costume room and ate outside and received funny awards. After another beautiful breezy, sunny day on Tepee Lake we can’t imagine a better evening to cap it off. Oh, and did we mention that dessert tonight was ice cream sandwiches?
