Spirits have been high all day. It’s been cold (high 15’C today) and we’ve had occasional showers… We kept the younger kids mostly off the lake and out of the water today… and everyone who went swimming and windsurfing came to my cabin for hot chocolate and warmed up by the fire…. Kids who are going on the long canoe trips did white water training today with their trippers and had a blast. At lunch and dinner today there were a whole bunch of 3rd class award announcements – so many campers learning so  many skills at camp! When their awards are announced their section cheers for them and it’s such a great moment of celebration of children’s efforts and their new skills. Tonight dinner was roast chicken with BBQ sauce, mashed potatoes (home made of course) and al dente broccoli…. The Junior Play Finding Nemo is looking great in rehearsals  – Our Junior thespians are so talented!
