Senior Boys and Inter Girls came back from trip today and everyone I talked to reported having a great trip… This morning at breakfast the High Ropes staff did a pretty breathtaking skit – theme Flying Squirrel – and that’s what campers did all day at High Ropes – fly! At lunch the Inter Boys staff did a super-cute skit for their special day – Viral Videos… Also at lunch there was a “zebra” walking around the Main Lodge – well, actually a white horse that kids painted with black stripes…. My two favourite activities of their special day were walking the “tightrope” – windsurfers tied together in a line… and Inter Boy flash-mobs running all over camp… Our friend, Arowhon alum, Seth Godin (who was Head Canoeing Instructor here for many years)  is here teaching canoeing for a few days… This afternoon at 4th period I watched him teaching some senior Girls high class canoe manoeuvres. He made me so proud when he said the girls had fantastic “physicality and spirituality” in their canoes…. The Nature Program has just acquired 10 chickens and a rooster, so we’re doing some following the rooster through the woods… and hoping for eggs.
