Hot, sunny (except for  brief rain 1st period) and fun. At lineup this morning the trippers did a fun skit to promote 10 and 14 day canoe trips… The Juniors have already started rehearsals for their play, Finding Nemo (which was annoyed with a fully costumed extravaganza skit of course). The LITs got back from their canoe trip today and reported that it was a great trip. Campers have started getting their 3rd class awards, complete with announcements of that in the dining hall and their section cheering for them… At one point today the Inter Boys “stole” the Inter Girls cheer to celebrate a 3rd class award announcement. Of course the Inter Girls had to retaliate, which resulted in an unscheduled dip in the lake for the Inter Boys Section Head. Assistant Director Max Muszynski took a few trippers out today to assess their white water teaching skills prior to our long trips (which will include some gentle white water). While Max was out of camp, every item of his clothing mysteriously migrated to the Main Lodge rafters, with his bed made on the Head Table. Cabin 3 (Inter Boys) are suspected in the situation, and it’s possible they had some assistance from management. The Cabin 3 boys are over the moon with glee.
