Just before dinner, the 14 day canoe trip got back to camp. The whole camp turned out to the lakeshore to welcome the triumphant Senior trippers home from their whitewater adventure. Evening activity tonight was Arowhon-a-Palooza, a fabulous show of singing and dancing. The kids sang and danced so well and the audience went wild. Then we were led by torches to the front of the Main Lodge for the Colour War break skit. We watched Alice in her blue and white pinafore follow the White Rabbit, we saw the caterpillar, the Mad Hatter’s tea party, the king and queen playing croquet and thundering “Off with their heads.” And the Cheshire Cat leaning out of a tall tower.
