And after dinner we all went outside to watch the same skit we’ve been doing for more than 60 years, about L’il Abner and Daisy Mae and Evil Eye Fleigel who steals the kickapoo joy juice…. Yes, it’s the Saidie Hawkins Skit.. after the skit we all hurried to our cabins to get down ‘n Dogpatch – freckles and braids on the girls, plaid and dungarees and bandanas on everyone… Then the girls chased the boys and now there’s a corn roast, marshmallows to roast, hay rides and the Saidie Hawkins dance at Rustic Lounge… after which, at 9:15, we’ll have the time-honoured Colour War takeout.
