Day 2 of 2nd session full program
Oh what a great day it’s been… Junior Girls and Boys were having anchor lessons to learn to windsurf, beginner canoeing and riding lessons… and the Junior girls are just now finishing up their evening activity of Sailing with the Tuck Fairies (i.e. learning to sail and getting candy from the tuck fairies)… Tomorrow evening, […]Continue
Whitney trip is back!
Half an hour ago the entire camp turned out to welcome back our Senior Boys who paddled across Algonquin to Whitney and back – a trip they’d been training for every morning at 6 for weeks. We’re proud of the boys’ accomplishment, but even prouder of the dedication and teamwork they showed in their training. […]Continue

The long trip is back!

Kids […]Continue

Highlights of the day were an Arts and Crafts and FAD (Fitness, Aerobics and Dance) co-production of body painting and zumba in front of the Main Lodge, which involved campers painting literally every part of […]Continue

This morning, thanks to the perfect weather (hot sun, light wind) we did Pirate Day for all the Juniors at sailing.. Of course it started with a skit at breakfast. The Juniors all practiced capsizing drills and other fun stuff to get over their fears about sailing. Led by our friendly pirates (the sailing staff, […]Continue
Being Silly is SO Camp
Today at lunch we had an example of how the smallest things can turn into the biggest fun moments at camp, at the drop of a hat. A couple of days ago the riding staff had brought a small grey pony to dinner lineup and announced a “Name the Pony” contest. So kids submitted names. […]Continue
